Kristian Suvatne (b. 1993, Kristiansand) holds a Master degree from Institut Kunst, Academy of Art and Design, FHNW, in Basel (2023), and a Bachelor from Oslo National Academy of Fine art and The Royal Danish Academy of fine arts, Copenhagen (2018).

Recent exhibitions include: Lokal int, Biel, Kunsthalle Palazzo, Liestal, Kunstraum Riehen, Riehen, Kunsthaus Baselland, Basel, and Ausstellungsraum Klingental, Basel.

Suvatne co-funded the artist-run exhibition space Suvatne & Erakovic together with artist Aljosa Erakovic in 2020 that operates between Oslo and Basel – and the record label Sunlab in 2018 together with producer and designer Sverre Brand.
